EDA PLAY TOBY 2.03

The EDA PLAY TOBY app offers a structured approach to the development of vision and fine motor skills, specifically tailored for children with multiple disabilities and visual disorders. It also extends benefits to those with Central Visual Impairment (CVI).

The application is divided into four distinct segments:

1. “Watch What’s Happening”: This stage is designed for younger children, focusing on visual attention through automatic tasks.
2. “Touch and Make Something Happen”: Accessible for children with visual impairments and those with significant fine and gross motor challenges, this section allows users to interact by touching or tapping the screen, producing engaging sounds from musical instruments or animals as rewards.
3. “Touch and Find Out What’s Hiding in the Dark”: Aimed at enhancing visual perception, this part encourages exploration of hidden elements.
4. “Touch and Find Out What’s Hiding in the Box”: Similar to the previous segment, this activity also supports visual perception development.

Overall, the app is designed to accommodate children at various levels of psychomotor development, ensuring an inclusive play experience.

• Vibrant colors and illustrations with clear shapes
• An adjustable white frame that delineates the workspace on the tablet display
• A Skills section that tracks the child's progress within the app
• A simulator for visual disorders to give context to users' experiences
